Whiplash accident

Whiplash accidents can be very painful and are very complicated and complex to be diagnosed. In some cases the symptoms occurs immediately after the accident while in some cases it takes days and even weeks for such symptoms to appear. In most cases whiplash causes severe pain accompanied with stiffness and loss of movement. Pain is the result of damage to ligaments and tendons of the head and neck. As whiplash is a kind of injury which never appears in x-rays, CT scans or MRI scans, it becomes even more difficult to determine the diagnosis process. However the inured are always suggested taking an x-ray to avoid all chances of fracture or dislocation of the spine.
